Corona virus (Covid 19) Statement (18th March 2020)

 

 

 

The global pandemic that is currently sweeping across the world will affect people and businesses in differing ways and with differing severity. 

 

At Jo Bird we are doing everything we can to protect people and continue as far as is possible, normally.

 

The key actions that we have taken so far:

 

·         Robust health policy update to reduce risk of infection to all stakeholders (including no customer or supplier face to face meetings etc).

 

·         Robust health policy update to reduce risk of infection whilst at work at Jo Bird

 

·         Highly trained and flexible workforce who can cover most roles in the event of sickness

 

·         Increased production hours whilst we have a healthy workforce able to do so (in order to meet expected delivery dates wherever possible)

 

·         Expansion of working from home to all roles where this is possible. (Sales, marketing, finance)

 

As this situation is evolving so rapidly, we will be taking further measures as is required. Our aim to primarily to look after the health of our customers, suppliers and staff and to minimise the potential disruption in our ability to meet your needs.
