20/07/2009 - Joining the fight against hospital acquired infections

Fire extingusihers sited in hospitals, health centres and nursing and care homes are all at risk of bacterial contamination from human contact in public corridors and on wards.
A unique solution to guarding against such contamination has been launched by Jo Bird in the form of an anti-microbial protective storage cabinet which additionally gives physical protection to the enclosed extingusher or other emergency equipment which may need to be located in easily accessible places open to the public.
